She wanted to make mostly homemade food for her son and pay closer attention to the ingredients going into what he enjoyed. When he developed a liking for rose milk, she began looking for a way to make it at home that was both easy and something she felt good about serving.

That curiosity led her into the kitchen.

She started experimenting with rose syrup, working towards a recipe that could deliver the familiar floral flavour she loved without artificial colours or artificial flavours.
